The first BOX LUNCH Restaurant opened in the spring of 1977, in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as a seasonal business during the traditional school summer break. Today there are eight "Cape" stores and two off Cape. The Hyannis location has been open for 16 years, Saundra Moscicki has owned it for the past ten.
