Main Street’s own Bob Kennedy will be the featured artist for the next Artscape 1st Thursdays at Ardeo on Main from 5-8pm on August 7th. Bob will exhibit his new gouache painting series that represent the style and flavor of the 1930’s and 1940’s. A Reminder about the Thursday Night Summer Stroll:
Please feel free to set up an outdoor display on Thursday nights through August from 5-10pm, but keep in mind there are still regulations in place. The outdoor display on Thursday nights should be creative, fun, attractive, and interesting. The Town will allow existing Main Street Merchants to:
- Sell and display merchandise in the area directly in front of the store of the merchant. This includes the public sidewalk—but only the third of the sidewalk that is closest to the building. Four feet of the sidewalk has to be clear for people to pass by.
- Merchandise may be displayed anywhere on property owned or controlled by the merchant.
Please Note: This is for Thursday nights during the summer only. Outdoor displays are not allowed any other day of the week. The Town is taking this very seriously and will be citing people for displays that are not permitted.
